January 13, 2021
Royal Caribbean have announced an exciting new product in the Caribbean
From 5th December 2021 until 17th April 2022 Grandeur of the Seas will Homeport in Bridgetown Barbados. This is exciting news as it’s the first new home port in the Caribbean from Royal Caribbean in such a long time.
Itineraries will depart to and from Bridgetown allowing guests the chance to enjoy a wonderful 2 centre holiday with plenty of opportunity to discover all the incredible attractions Barbados has to offer.
Itineraries will be for 7 or 14 Nights and will take in some of the lesser called at islands, making for a unique cruise with wonderfully different ports of call.
- Scarborough, Tobago
- Port Of Spain, Trinidad
- Castries, St. Lucia
- St. George’s, Grenada
- Kingstown, St. Vincent
Flights From Dublin will fly via London and you will not require a PRE-CRUISE night in Barbados so those guests who are longing for a Caribbean Cruise but are tight on time this is the perfect solution.
Grandeur of the Seas is a Vision Class Ship, she is a mid-size ship which is debuted in 1996 but she was refurbished in 2012.
Grandeur has 996 cabins but has a limited number of Balcony Cabins (216 in Total) so guests wishing to book a balcony cabin would need to book early. She carries 1992 passengers with a double occupancy or 2440 with a total occupancy. She has 12 decks, 8 Restaurants and 4 bars. She also has 2 pools, 6 whirlpools, a rock climbing wall, bungee trampolines, kids clubs and lots more to keep everyone entertained.
Prices are starting at a very reasonable €416pp for 7 Nights & €750pp for 14 Nights.
This is extremely exciting news for a Cruise Nerd like myself. I think the itinerary and ship are super, it’s such a great opportunity to combine a stay in Barbados and a Royal Caribbean Cruise.
Well done to Royal Caribbean for such exciting news in such a dismal time.
